A Shot at Love is over, and dani lost. (sorry if that spoils it for you. before i watched it on tivo tonight, AGR spoiled it for me. so, :P .) i was thrilled she made it to the final two, but i sorta had a feeling she wasn't going to make it. she was just too good of a friend to tila -- always telling her "no matter how this turns out, i'm going to be your friend." tila was clearly bowled over by her niceness, but that attitude, though eminently commendable, doesn't exactly convey a lot of passion.

while some might speculate whether this confirms suspicions that tila was secretly straight (or at least preferred boys), i think it's best to assume she just wasn't that into dani. (this glass house doesn't need any more stones tossed nearby, thank you.)

big news

it's snowing. fun! (for a second, at least.)

but i won't have long to enjoy it because i am MOVING BACK TO CALIFORNIA. woo hoo! not that new york isn't awesome, too, in its own way. i hope to return someday. but i left my heart in san francisco, so i have to move back to reclaim it.

i gave my notice this week, the anticipation of which made me extremely anxious, but which in fact turned out quite fine. everyone is being very supportive. it probably helps that i gave them almost two months' notice. i'm going to move at the end of january, then take a month off to study for the bar. (ugh.)

and nope, i don't have a job yet. if you want to hire me, let me know!
