high school
i went to my 10-year high school reunion this weekend. it was kind of boring. hardly anyone went, so i mostly just hung out all night with the few people that i'm still friends with.
don't the rest of you people have any sense of nostalgia, or at least curiosity? i mean, don't get me wrong, i hated high school (actually, all of K-12). but still, i like to find out what happened to people i used to know and haven't seen in forever.
oh well. it wasn't even all that interesting to see the people who did show up, 'cause no one has changed that much, and we're all still pretty much kids. maybe the 20th will be better.

I couldn't go because just before the reunion was announced, I made another commitment to be out of town for the weekend. How many people ended up going?

i would guess there were maybe 70 or 80 alumni there in total. from CAP, maybe 10? jeff, max, mzd, rose, emily, ben, anna, alita, brigid, me...

p.s. i might start lobbying for us to have a separate CAP reunion sometime. thanksgiving? maybe more people would show up.

Speaking from experience, the 20th anniversary is a hell of a lot different than 10th. At 28 years old, many people are still kids. Between 28 and 38 is when the life changing shut (good and bad) tends to happen.
Some people start looking OLD at the 20th...
