pumpkin pie
i made a pumpkin pie this weekend! i was pretty proud, 'cause i haven't baked anything in, i don't know, several years, at least.
unfortunately (or fortunately?), it turns out my sister doesn't care for pumpkin, and we don't get a whole lot of visitors, so i'm basically in charge of eating this entire pie myself before it goes bad. it's a formidable challenge, but i love pumpkin pie, so i think i can do it.

I used to live in Germany, and worked for the US govt, so I had access to the commissary and AEA facilities. Anyways, I met this german chick, and she and her friends were obsessed about pumpkin pie, but you couldn't get canned pumpkins in german stores, so I bought them some pie crust and libby's pumpkin cans and they made me some pie!!

Yeah I think pumkin is how hillbillies spell and say it "can a have sem more pumkin pie maaaaaaaaa a jus finished ma caramels and later am gonna go milk the bulls".
To the kind sir who doesnt like to denigrate hillbillies please dont read the wikipedia article on this particular section of society doesnt seem to nice.
