vacating
sorry it's been a thousand years. studying for the bar exam sucked. thank goodness it's over. i'm glad i basically never have to take a test again in my life if i don't want to.
now i'm chilling out for two weeks in costa rica and panama. my two goals are to see a lot of monkeys and improve my spanish. i'm making some headway with my spanish, but there've been no monkey sightings in the first 24 hours. i'll post pictures if i do come across any.

In Costa Rica you can help with the american couple that is trying to save rare jungle birds (kind of parrot-like) and also the sea-turtle breeding effort. It is all volunteer work but either in lush jungle or on a paradise beach with lots of young people of your age... doesn't sound too bad, does it?

Manuel Antonio is supposed to be the place for Monkeys in Costa Rica- not that cloud forest place by the cheese making town.

Take care, Ilona
Costa Rica is fine and wonderful but there are bad (and I mean BAD) neighbourhoods very close nearby. Panama is even worse, outside the Canal zone. That's no country for a cute young lady and a schoolar... :-)
Just saying
